After visiting Sovereign Hill 5B decided to build a diorama of some of the buildings we saw. Me and my partner, Oliver built The Eureka Hotel and the Hotel Stables. Here is a map I made of our diorama.
I used a compass, key/legend and grid references.
In the comment section, can you tell me what grid references the Eureka Hotel and Stables are?

Great post! I really like your map and I like how in the key you added lots of information. The grid references of the Eureka Hotel is 5B and the Hotel Stables is 6B.

It sounds like you had fun making your map. I know I did. You did a great job making the key and it’s easy to navigate. I think the Eureka stockade is on F7 and F6 and the stables is on B6.

Great work Esther. I like the presentation of your map.
You should get out the older Melways books (see if your parents have one even from 10 years ago) and try to identify big landmarks and roads. You work out pretty quickly how to turn pages to continue with the map. I used to look at Melways A LOT when I first moved to Melbourne.
